The Centering Prayer Group is hosting a retreat day on Tuesday December 3rd, from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm on the GLC campus as our Advent preparation. Please join us for periods of Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, and quiet time for journaling, walking, and just being. Hospitality will begin at 9:00 am. Come for all or any part of the day. Our tentative schedule includes Centering Prayer (at 9:30 & 11:30 am, & 2:00 pm,) a Labyrinth Walk at 1:00 pm, and Lectio Divina followed by group sharing at 4:00 pm. We will remain in silence throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch and a folding chair if you would like to sit outside. We will conclude with faith sharing and dinner at Troy’s Greek Restaurant for those who would like to attend. All are welcome to participate in and explore contemplative prayer.
